RERA permit requirements

What permits you need, where to find them, and what happens if they expire mid-listing.

Every Dubai listing on Propora must satisfy the Real Estate Regulatory Authority's permit requirements. We validate on listing submission and re-validate the entire active inventory nightly.

Required for every Dubai listing

  • RERA Permit Number — issued per property, valid for 90 days, renewable
  • Trakheesi Permit Number — Dubai-specific advertising permit, format-validated on submission
  • Advisor Broker Number (BRN) — the Advisor publishing the listing must hold an active BRN

Highly recommended

  • DLD Title Deed reference — unlocks the ProVerified badge
  • EJARI registration number — for rental listings

What happens if a permit expires

We re-check every listing's RERA permit nightly. If a permit expires, the listing is automatically set to status WITHDRAWN and the Advisor is emailed within an hour. Renewing the permit and re-validating brings the listing back online without a re-listing fee.

Listings without a valid RERA permit cannot be published. There is no exception for off-plan launches or pre-handover listings — the permit must exist before the listing goes live.
